The site features Photoshop artists apparently submitted by viewers and rated by viewers.  Each featured artist image is a link to their web site where you can peruse their full portfolio.  Be prepared to spend some time if you are a photoshop junkie.

Killer Texture Site

[CG Textures] claims to be the worlds largest FREE texture site.  Who knows maybe they are.  They have a ton of ‘em thats for sure.  The “bone” texture category was kind of unexpected.  It warrants a visit if you’re looking for a cool texture.

PhotoWalk Winners

If you are at all familiar with Scott Kelby (NAPP, Kelby Training, Photoshop TV, Layers Magazine etc., etc.) you’ve probably heard about the World Wide PhotoWalk he held this past weekend. I followed it intently even though I was unable to participate.  It strikes me that nothing could be more inspiring than to walk with other passionate photographers as a group and actively share that passion.  The next best thing is to peruse these winning shots from the event. Inspiring! Makes me want to go on a photo walk of my own.

Better Black and White

Improving your black and white photos is anything but black and white. If you’ve tried to find good techniques for doing this you know they are as numerous as the pixels in your image. So add this tutorial to your list, but don’t rush, its a good one and worth learning.

Bring In Some Light

Wow! Almost 2 months since my last post. I can’t let that happen again.

Found this helpful tip on saving underexposed photos in Photoshop. I partially used the technique in the photo below, plus a few tricks of my own.
